Truth Must Prevail !!!!
Yes. Truth must prevail. And thus in pursuit of ultimate truth, on this auspicious occasion of Zyeth Ashtami, we would like to welcome you to the inaugural issue of Kashmir Herald - the voice of Kashmiri Hindus. During the 1998-2000 period,
Kashmir Chronicle, an electronic periodical, was distributed worldwide
to interested media, politicians and think tank experts. The journal
explored the depths of the so-called Kashmir issue and did not hesitate
to point fingers in the conflict. During those three years, the journal
helped to bring to the attention of world the vast network of Pakistani
terrorist camps that are aimed at Jammu and Kashmir State of India and
have been instrumental in the ethnic cleansing of a nearly half a
million strong Kashmiri Pandit population. Today Pakistan stands exposed
to the entire world as the leading sponsor of terrorism and is shunned
by most civilized nations. This has however had little effect on the
ground situation in Jammu and Kashmir, or to the lives of the exiled
Kashmiri Hindu population. Thus the task started before remains
unfinished. Kashmir Herald promises to base its content on facts and figures and go further than ever before in uncovering the truth. Its editors will decipher critical early warning signals from sources around the world to give readers a balanced, practical assessment of emerging trends. In an era of information overload, those who both make and track decisions on the global level will depend upon the Kashmir Herald as the most credible and concise monthly journal covering the so-called issue of Kashmir. The Kashmir Herald understands that its readers are subject to massive information overload. It will provide carefully selected news coverage combined with the context and perspective that give meaning to raw news. The Kashmir Herald promises to be
objective and truthful because it is independent of any political or
commercial interest. We are hopeful that our readers will enjoy and rely
upon its unique blend of news and analysis. We are sure that you will
read it because you want to read it. Once again, welcome to the inaugural issue of Kashmir Herald. We hope you will enjoy this issue and will continue to come back to read future issues as well. We count on your continued support and are sure that you will not disappoint us. Editorial Team |
