Hunting Terrorists In
Our Ally's Backyard: Pakistan
Dr. Subodh Atal
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the No. 3 leader in Al Qaeda, was captured in a
joint US-Pakistani operation in the eastern Pakistani city of Rawalpindi.
While Mohammed's arrest fulfills an important objective of the
anti-terrorism war, there is little reason to become complacent. Even as
American guns turn towards Iraq, and U.S. attention is likely to be
diverted towards that country for the near future, it would be a folly
to overlook three points pertinent to Mohammed's capture and the
circumstances preceding it....More... Wahi: The
Supernatural Basis of Islam
Part VII -
Dealing with a mistaken religion
Dr. Koenraad ELST
The
first thing to do is to cultivate a correct understanding of Islam among
ourselves. Whenever something critical is said about Islam, non-Muslims
are always the first to come to its defence and to lambast the critics

first major roadblock on the way to a candid analysis of the Islam

Return of
Internally Displaced Persons
Prof. K.N. Pandita

did not want it.....More...

history books under the Congress patronage for decades have suddenly
started accusing the BJP government (and the Sangh Parivar) of "communalising"
or "saffronizing" history. Those who contest Marxists' version of
history were labeled as "communal" while they call their own version as
"secular".....More...

To Exist
Hema Kalsi
It has taken me twelve long years to figure out that I do not exist, my
family does not exist, and my people do not exist. Since I do not exist
my opinion of course does not count, nor the endless troubles my family
must go through, nor the suffering of my people, for why should it when
I do not exist!! .....More...
J&K:
Jehadis Strike as Kashmir Recedes from Global Focus
Kanchan Lakshman
Even as global
attention remains focused on the war on Iraq, the trajectory of
Jehadi terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) is beginning to soar.
Two dramatic incidents in the space of 12 hours on Sunday, March 23,
2003, demonstrate the strengthening trends to escalation of terrorism in
the State.......More...
